I am not very educated when it comes to tail docking. When I first heard what it was, it seemed unnecessary and cruel, but a lot of people disagree. I never thought much of it until my cousin called me today to tell me that my yorkie is in the process of being conceived. She mentioned that all the puppies will have their dew claws removed and their tails docked when they are 3 days old. I figured I should develop and opinion on the matter before letting her go ahead and dock my puppy's tail.
So, please tell me all you know about tail docking and whether you agree or disagree with it.
