Are you sure you rinsed it off really well? If you don't rinse any shampoo or conditioner off really really well, it will look like they have flaky skin. I will admit that Splash and Shine completely threw me off because of it's water like consistency. I thought I was going to have to use the entire bottle just to get a good wash. What I ended up doing was putting droplets in the areas I was working on (ears, leg, tail, back, you get the idea) and I "massaged" it on Kaji. With the water off and a nice massage he actually enjoyed this last bath a little. I asked for samples of Nootie too though. I'm getting cucumber melon.
