I watched 100 videos, talked to breeders and vets. Thank God I was prepared but nothing is like whelping your first. We are keeping the three in the family. I will not offer any puppies until I decide Ive made a lifelong commitment to be a real breeder. Here is my question: What is a typical contract for stud for akc and non? Is there somewhere I can go to learn? I have had a personal experience here in San Diego which feels like a scam or con. If my mom were to only have one puppy does that go to the stud owner or payment of 2500 if it is a female? Smells funny! Please be kind. We all start out somewhere. I can assure you I love this breed more than anything. The money is so far down the list of importance. Thank you

To answer your question about the puppy. It does not matter. It depends on the contract if they paid stud fee or first pick. First pick is only if that's all there is. Smells funny? Well happens all the time.

There is only one kind of Yorkshire terrier. Not a kind different for different people. How can you say you love the breed more than anything if you are breeding them. It's sad.
