You're lucky fleas/ticks aren't a big issue where you are! They are CRAZY here in the summer. Ticks are so gross. Jackson got Lyme disease from all the nasty ticks he got on him in the beginning of the summer and I just wouldn't wanna go thru all that again. If it hadn't of been treated or caught early, tick diseases can be deadly! We get quite a few mosqitoes around here as well and I like that the Advantix repels them too.
I totally did not see that she wasn't talking about heartworm- my mistake.

Ticks are not an issue here unless we are in the bush- and that's not my thing you are right- lyme disease can be deadly and if that is an issue where you live- you NEED to prevent against it.
