I had Jackson on Frontline Plus in early summer of last year and he got like 10 or more ticks in a few weeks span. It was so frustrating. I switched to K9 Advantix and haven't had 1 tick to my knowledge since.
The Advantix makes his hair pretty greasy but it only lasts for about 1 day. I try as hard as possible to just get it on the skin and not the hair.
