I don't know anything about Legges Perthes disease...and I'm about to do some research on it. But the problem is definately in her knees and not in her hips. I can feel the joint popping in and out even when she is standing still. I am mostly afraid that it has become more severe over the past few months since she was not fully grown when she was diagnosed. Maybe surgery will be an option now.
She doesn't seem to be in pain...it just seems like stiffness with maybe a little weakness in the morning when she hasn't been moving around at all. She sleeps so soundly that she is in the same position that she fell asleep in 8 hours earlier.
I'm going to look into a orthopedic expert here...but I have a feeling that there isn't one. |
