In traveling I've seen signs advertising puppies and mostely in Texas, but in other states too. Some neon signs, signs outside of stores, on street corners in various towns, even selling pups in flea markets.

I'm amazed they can sell in FLEA MARKETS - many (here in Texas) are smuggled....brought across the border with parvo.
It's so sad and a problem that no one seems to be trying to stop. I can't even think about how many die on the way - but have heard about people buying them there only to lose them to that awful painful illness. What gets me is people think it's ok.
my hex on those who do buy sell puppies like this is : may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotch and may their arms be too short to scratch
