Do you know the lines of the 10 month old puppy, as far as what size is produced? My mentor has told me that the only reason to wait on a boy's age is for proper sperm count, not that a 10 month old can't reproduce.
With you having a female having 3 prior litters, I am a bit confused as to why you weren't taking precautions with the 10 month old anyway.
