Everyone gets paid the same thing no matter how long they been there or how new they are.
Now before I got the job I started going to school to do hair since I was not finding any job in my major. Now i'm thinking of going back since i'm not finding a good job. If I go back I will have to quit the job because they cross each others time.
So if you was me would you quit the job hoping to find another job or go back to hair school to work in a salon and open a hair salon one day? Im trying to get out my parents house and get a car!!! |
I'm in the same boat as you are. I graduated with a degree in History last June and I cannot find anything permanent or worth my time. I have experience working in the classroom yet I can't get hired for anything that isn't temporary. I even led my own class of 25 kids in an after school program with tons of responsibility and only get paid $800 a month. It made me so mad that at every weekly staff meeting we were tossed 2 more new responsibilities. By the time I left, I had the same workload as a certified teacher, lesson plans and everything!!!! I dream of the day that I find something more permanent, with a decent wage that will get Kaji and I out of my parents house again (we moved back in in Jan) where he has a backyard and I can go back and get my credentials or something.
I have a part time now, tutoring kids for $17.50 and hour but I have yet to see my February paycheck. I feel lost and stressed.
