An empty water bottle with about 6-8 pennies inside. I shake it anytime Oliver is barking (he barks at every little noise, seriously) and say "STOP!" very firmly. We've got it down to one shake usually, sometimes he won't even start if I even have my hand on the bottle, lol. I literally carry it around the house with me, which get's annoying sometimes but it's slowly working.
Other people have had success using a water bottle, spraying the dog in the face whenever they bark. It didn't work for Ollie. He thought I was playing, lol.
