I was told by the vet that my yorkie shouldn't be eating raw hide until she's at least a year old because young pup's digestive systems won't break down the raw hide. Now my yorkie is turning 1 year, next month. She is currently 5-6 pounds...I have received raw hide bones as presents for her in the past and have put them aside because of what the vet said....can I now give them to her? Or should I still wait....I'd love to hear people's opinions of whether they give their yorkies raw hide bones or not or people's opinions of raw hide in general.
