He needs to get balanced this has been going on way too long imho and not trying to sound harsh but how would you like to be vomitting alot that is not fun and if that wet food worked please just do that and maybe the vet can work with you on the cost if you buy a case at a time or something. I really strongly feel this is IBD and have the entire time
well the vet doesnt think thats it..and he said he doesnt need prescription or vet food either in his opinion. he just told me to try another kind of food until something works since we dont know what it is. i know how to control his throw up from food, so hes not doing it everyday anymore. he doesnt throw up at all on wet food..and he didnt tonite with a little RC kibble either..so im gonna try to switch him to that slowly and see. again since they are small and for small dog digestion i think maybe itll work. i honestly still think the problem is how much gas he gets in his stomach, prob from something in the food or something. i cant stick with the wet b/c of price..its just too much for me with paying reg bills and xtra rent for the pets. but i think this new food will work, and if it doesnt i may call purdue and ask them b/c i heard they do some things for free just for the teaching process so students can see how the vet works on diagnosis and what not..thats a last resort but it may be an option. like i said thou hes not throwing up while eating anymore..so i know how to control that regardless of food..it just takes time. so hes not ruining his esophagus or anythin any more than he already had. he does spit up randomly like a baby now, which he never did on dry food (but maybe that could be his meds?) but theres no wretching or hacking or anything when that happens...he just stops and a tiny bit of vomit rolls off his tongue from what i can tell..and again vet said he didnt know what caused that, so just to try another food and see if theres an improvement.
also i didnt know he got carsick cuz ive never had that problem with him before and he doesnt act stressed at all in the car, opposite actually. but now that he has done it twice, i probably will just leave him at home more often. i think it may have to do with being in the stroller or the cart at the store thou, cuz ive never noticed it before until now..after riding in those 2 things..
