I always planned on having Jackson sleep in my bed so that's why I put the crate on the bed with me. I did the crate on the bed thing for maybe 3-4 weeks and then he was aloud to sleep on my bed, he's never had 1 accident. I got him at 9 weeks old. I wouldn't do it if you were planning on not having your dog sleep in your bed though because then you're just creating bad habits.
