milu is my first dog, and i've owned her for almost 2 years now and i have NEVER stepped on her. i've always been VERY careful.
i was in a big hurry cleaning the house the other day before people came over for a puppy play date, and i accidently stepped on davinci. i was SOOOOOOOOOOOO scared and i was
SURE i broke his leg, i was ready to take him to the emergency room, but he was fine, i mean, he yelped, and limped a little bit, but was fine walking right the way......like just a few seconds later...
i felt sooooo bad for my carelessness. i usually have him wear a bell so i know where he is and if he is near my feet. i had taken it off of him for a bath and hadn't put it back on.
i guess i was really lucky maybe because he is still a baby and their bones are a lot more flexible?
because i was so sure i had totally broken his leg when i stepped on him!!!!!!
lessons learned -
1. BE CAREFUL!!!!
2. always remember to put the bell back on dog!
3. just let people come over to my messy house! it's not THAT big of a deal! LOL!
