I would suggest reading the sticky info under the "Yorkie health & diet" forum regarding dog food.
Pedigree is NOT very good food and there is a lot of info there for you to choose a healthier brand for the puppy.
Though, when switching it needs to be a gradual process to avoid the puppy getting sick.
