| Oh, I should have mentioned...bows and ponytails are for special occasions (holidays, family visits, etc) and usually only stay in for an hour or two. Purely for decorative purposes in other words. I keep her front bang portion trimmed so she can see. She doesn't mind bows as long as she is occupied with something else, but as soon as she gets bored she notices them and starts trying to de-bow herself!
Thanks so much for the replies! It's good to know that it's just normal. I love her being a silky because she never tangles which is a huge plus. And as far as pictures or just looking at her, you really can't tell that she's thin on top. It's usually only when I'm drying her after a bath that it's glaringly obvious. I use Bio-groom conditioner on the rest of her, but leave it off her head to help cut down on the greasiness...but I may see what happens if I use conditioner on her head too. Maybe that's why the rest of her body seems fluffier!
