Gen I think of you and Cookie often. I have another story of hope for you. I just met a couple at the my local dog park and they told me that their little Chihuahua was stolen and returned after 8 months. They had given the dog a bath and let him out to potty after. The ID tags were still off at this time. Well they had an unlocked gate and the dog got out. They realized this pretty quickly and immediately went out to look for it. We live in a community that has lots of new construction under way and they had workers all around. They asked around and even spoke to the Foreman and no one said they saw the dog. After months of putting up signs and posters everywhere and even offerng a reward they finally got a break. Someone left a note on their door saying I know where your dog is. Turns out one of the workers took him and his coworker knew of it. The coworker left the note and got their dog back for them. I guess guilt finally set in. I know you will get Cookie back. I just hope it is soon. Hang in there.
