It took 2 months to train Sandy to pee and poop on the pee pads. He was paper trained by my breeder before he turned 12 wks old. When he came to us, he potty everywhere he liked - including on our carpets. Whenever we caught him doing that, we picked him up and put him on the pee pad.

When you know it's about time for him to go for potty, make sure he only has access to the places where he's supposed to do his 'business'. That really worked. Now, he'll only potty on his pee pad.

There are accidents but not on our carpets. When we see him pooping on the pee pad, we praise him (a lot) and give him treats.

From my experience, it's not that hard to potty train our little furbabies (ok, I only have one ) but you need a lot of patience.

Good luck.
