You need to crate him. You need to get a small crate just big enough so he doesn't feel cramp, but small so he can separate a spot for pooping. Dogs like to keep their area clean...they learn that from their mom...I don't know if yours got a chance to learn that...but try it anyways. CRATE him and if he cries/whines. You HAVE to let him be, otherwise, he will think that whenever he cries or whines you will go get him. It's hard to ignore them, but you gotta do it. Hope this helps...
