 CECS In a Yorkie?
My Yorkie had an episode seemed like three in a row tonight, went to emergency vet refereed to my personal vet for tomorrow as he seems fine now. It appeared to be a seizure, but after looking at seizure videos he had an episode or several similar to a CECS canine epilepsy contraction syndrome. Anyone ever heard of this in a Yorkie? He's purebred, however he is a Parti Yorkie so his genetic make up is high in recessive genes, i.e. his coloring and he is 11.4 lbs. Calling vet in morning and taking him in right away for testing, but of course, stressed and up all night trying to guess and match symptoms with reasoning for now. |
