My vet put my yorkie on more Lasix. This seems to be helping. I am giving her a half tablet of 12.5 lasix 3 times a day. When she starts to go back to a normal weight, I am to decrease the dosage.
The bloating is all in the "Belly" area. The vet took a "tap" of the liquid and showed me, it is clear liquid, that looks like water. The Dr. said it was protein. The lasix is removing the liquid.
She is on a Science diet W/D hard and soft food diet. I am also giving her 1 hard boiled egg a day (vet suggestion) which she loves eggs.
