I bet it is going to be another 8-12 weeks AT LEAST before you can sleep for more then 3 hours at a time. With your baby being so young and little he's got a tiny little bladder (smaller than a Lima bean) and is going to have to potty very often. If you're feeding him every 2-3 hours in the night you're also going to have to let him potty shortly after eating.
You absolutely CAN NOT let him continue to potty on the carpet! It is going to make potty training much harder! It's already going to be difficult considering how young he is.
Also, allowing him to sleep in your bed is probably not a good idea. He can easily get hurt if he tries to jump down, which he probably will once he works up the courage. And once he does there is no stopping him from doing it again. He needs to be kept in a small kennel. When Jax was a puppy I had a folding chair set up right next to my bed where I would set his kennel so he could see me. And do not allow him to have a lot of room in the kennel, just enough for him to sleep. With a lot of space he will end up going potty in his kennel which is also a no no.
