Glad I found this thread.... I was just abot to start on along the same lines.
I fed Ava (now 4.5 mo) Orijen, but the protein is way too high for her, and gave her stomach issues early on. I started mixing it with Wellness wet while I researched the best options. CONFUSING! I took my time, went to the pet store and spoke to the workers a few times.
Well, we went in today ready to buy Wellness Puppy dry or Innova, but the owner told me that NOW! Puppy Chicken and Duck would be the way to go because it's lower protein and grain free... this is rare as the rest of you were saying. It did concern me that potato flour was the second ingredient, but she said that it's a good source of fiber.
I'm excited to let her try it, and I'll let you all know what happens!
