Well, I went in to talk to the vet this afternoon and he said that Pixie was doing very good. YAYY. The cost of the surgery was sooo much cheaper than expected too... it was $1400! Very happy about that. They even did another x-ray before surgery and didnt charge me for that. I've got an awesome vet. They would not have anyone at the clinic overnight so I will be going to get Pixie at 7:30 tonight and bringing her back into the office first thing in the morning. I didnt feel comfortable enough leaving her overnight by herself and only having someone come in and check on her twice during the night. I did this same thing after she got spaide and everything went smoothly. Hopefully it is the same way tonight. Dont think that ill get much sleep but knowing that im with her is all worth it. The dr said that she has the Morphine patch on and will not need to take meds anymore. Is this the same for you who had your furbabies go through this? I've also made a call in to the physiotherapy office too. I'm going to take her in at least 2-3 times per week. What did you all do in regards to therapy? |
