Well, if you taught your current dogs, you can teach Vanilla too. Some people are too inconsistent with the training. At 8 months she is very trainable, and Joey didn't even start barking till about then.

Yes I do believe it may be a red flag when they want to drive half way. I think it's very possible that this could be a large volume breeder and she doesn't want you to know it. I always recommend you visiting the home. It's so important, if everyone did this we could put millers out of business, they just wouldn't be able to sell their dogs. Remember a miller stays in business if they can get less than $250.00 for a dog. I would ask for the vet reference, this person has had to get puppy shots, if she hasn't had any shots the dog could make your dogs sick.
