Maybe you should read this thread about the Barking Repeller.
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tra...-repeller.html I use to use pennies in a can, and they worked for everything except contactors, and the noise of the pennies, seemed to agitate the Joey, the contractor and me, which would in turn, would make Joey bark more. You could train by putting the dogs in the room when your at home, and just hit the button when they bark. The main thing you need to know is don't ever use it when they are too close, and never when they are within a foot of you, don't hold the button, but click it fast. It emits a high-pitched noise that only they can hear, it's not painful for them, but the noise must be unpleasant, because many people have had great results. I allow Joey to bark at certain things, and give him a limit where enough is enough, so I don't use the Repeller at the first bark only after I've said no, and raised my finger to my lips. I bought my Bark Repeller though Amazon, and it was only $15.00 including shipping. Love it!
