We have tried many different car seats from the snoozer console one to the regular look-out ones where you attach the harness so they can see out. Lola always seemed agitated looking out the windows so I purchased a Sturdibag Car-Go. It's a pop up enclosed car seat for dogs. It has mesh on all sides and the door in the front is quite large and zippered. You attach it to your seatbelt and we have ours in the middle backseat. Lola jumps onto the console and in she goes! The only downfall is that is is quite large for smaller dogs but still better than roaming free in a car. I have her bed in there and when it's winter a little heater under the pad that just takes the cold off...She just snuggles into her bed and is out cold before we hit the end of the street. It collapses very easily and you can throw it in your trunk if you need you backseat. All in all thumbs up I just wish they made a smaller size. |
