That's a great thing you are doing. I just took in a 13 plus male yorkie from a lady who lived in the same senior bldg as my Dad. She had gotten Nikki as a rescue 2 years ago and now she had a stroke so I said I would take him. I also volunteer at a no kill shelter and it is so sad to see them when they first come in but the saddest is the ones who were adopted and then brought back months or years later. |
