A few months ago while we were staying at my parents for a weekend, Chloe tried to jump up on the guest room bed. It's one of those pretty tall beds, nearly waist high on me, and of course, she didn't make it. She landed pretty hard on her way back down and hollered. Scared me half to death, and she was pretty shaken for a couple of hours...just acted like she didn't want to move. But by morning, she was acting fine except she didn't want to jump at all, even onto the low couch that has never been a problem. By that afternoon, she was back to her normal self. She did learn her lesson about trying to jump on to the bed though!

So...I would imagine that if Sadie recovers fairly quickly, then you're okay. If not, the x-ray sure couldn't hurt. Good luck!
