I brush Reesie every morning and now she doesn't run when she sees the brush. I'm as gentle as I can be and still do good job, and I talk to her quietly as I work. By the time I get to her head and face, her eyes are drooping she's so relaxed! It takes time to get them used to being brushed but when they know you're going to be gentle they might not put up a fight.
I don't like to trim, I let then groomer do that, but once in a while I trim around her nose at the end of our brush session. |
