Oh, mercy me!!!!! Do you remove the ear from his ears? Have you tried different foods? Food can be a major problem with ear allergies. Here's a site that has some information:

Here is a quote from a question and answer forum:
Raw chicken is better for him. I feed only raw chicken/beef/etc and my dog is SO much healthier than he was on kibble (chronic ear infections on kibble, no ear infections since switching to raw!)

About the hair in the ear quote:
If there is any hair in them, it must be removed. I prefer my fingers to pluck out the hair, but sometimes the hair will be out of reach, a hemostat works great but you can also use tweezers. Those hairs have to go or your pup could get an ear infection. If this is too much for you to handle, then have your Groomer or Vet do it. Yorkie Grooming

16 oz. Isopropyl alcohol, 4 tablespoons Boric Acid powder, 16 drops Gentian Violet 1% solution [all can be purchased at pharmacy] Mix all in the alcohol bottle and shake well. Use an empty ear cleaner bottle or eye dropper. Wipe out excess. Takes about a week to work.http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf27556968.tip.html
Kind of long. Sorry. Just wanted to help your poor baby. ~Joanne~
