This has happened before to Teddi. Usually when she gets the runs and then she figures out if she just doesn't eat she won't have the runs. The only way I can get her to start eating again is to make doggie pudding and give that to her for a meal or 2 and then mix in her regular food and then she is back to eating. Here is the recipe:

DOGGIE PUDDING RECIPE

When your dog doesn't want to eat it's important to get some nutrition into it. Try the following Pudding Recipe:

Mix the following in a saucepan and cook to pudding consistency.

2/3 cup sugar
6 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teas salt
4 cups milk (or one can evap milk plus equal parts water to make quart)
4 egg yolks
3 teasp vanilla.

This can be feed with syringe, on spoon, or let the dog eat from a bowl.

It's full of protein and nourishment and not inclined to cause diarrhea.
