Smile yes I have and they are not strict

I have checked, the requirements are simple: have a valid rabies vaccine and a proof of good health within 10 days of flying. The airlines often want more than the US government. It takes more preparation to take the dog back into Germany than it does to get him into the US! Germany wants a blood test to prove that the dogs has the correct antibodies in his blood to prove that the rabies vaccine worked. Taking him in to the US is no problem at all.
