Sorry to hear that!
I'm one of those people that believes in early
socialization and my vet agreed with me. However, I don't think a
place like Petsmart is a good place to do it. There's been sooo many
dogs in there, some who are ill (going to Banfield vet) and irresponsible
owners. I luckily had friends and family with dogs who Jackson was able
to be socialized early with but I understand not everybody has that
luxury. Petsmart and dog parks can be dangerous for a lil' pup who is
not fully vaccinated.
