Put aside Korea Town. But, pups at a shopping center; pet store. Absolutely, a no, no. The lady states the pups were bred by a dog owned by her father in Palmdale. But, that doesn't tell you much about the sire or the dam. There is a Sticky in I think the Yorkies Wanted or For Sale section, could be in the Library or Breeder section. The Sticky tells you how to buy a dog and spot a good breeder
There are so many Puppy Mills and Backyard Breeders in and around the Palmdale/Lancaster area. Be careful. Molly's Mom purchased her pup from one such place. The pup was 8 weeks of age and almost from the day the pup was brought home it has been at the vet's for one thing or another; Hyperglycemia, Coccidia, Mange.....you name it's been treated.
5 weeks of age, oh dear. These pups should just have begun their weaning process. No shots and in a pet store, what is this woman thinking.....No pup should be in a public environment until they've completed their series of innoculations, 16 weeks of age. No yorkie pup should leave a breeders home until they are a minimum of 12 weeks of age. So, much training done by their mother from the age of 8 weeks to 12 weeks.
By the way the state of California has stringent Pet Selling Lemon Laws. And selling a pup at this young age is illegal......
