Question - the hair on the top of Gus' head is really thin and gets really oily. Is this normal? Also, I was closely examining it and although the hair on the top of his head is black - it looks like the roots are white. Is THIS normal? |

My Abbie has the same type hair, that is the silver coming through that will be the final color and I have heard people on here say that the coat can look a little oily even with frequent baths. Here are some pics of mine, you can see the black ends and silver roots:
