When I brought my yorkie home she was very anti-social, in fact she'd growl at any of the dogs that came near her. She'd been an only dog in her previous home and wasn't used to having another dog around. She's 2 years old and within a couple of days she was trying to play with the other dogs, even the ones bigger than she is! I wouldn't say all hope is lost, sometimes they just have to adjust themselves to their environment and it can take some time. |
