I have had one person who purchased a puppy from me last year that was very allergic to her puppy. She ended up in the hospital with a severe asthma attack and she is highly allergic to dogs. Her allergist has tested her and it is the proteins that the dog excretes in its saliva. I took the puppy back and refunded the money to her. She had told me she grew up allergic to dogs and cats and was happy that yorkies are hypoallergenic. I told her then that no dog is 100 percent hypoallergenic and to give it a try. It proved to be one of the 10 percent or so of allergic people that react strongly to the saliva. She had to get her house cleaned and do all the linens etc that the puppy had mouthed. SO if that is your allergic reactions there is not much you can do but return the puppy. However if it is just the allergic rhinitis type (water eyes, itchy ears, runny nose, itchy eyes) and you want to take Zyrtec that may work. But remember it may be for life and those meds are not cheap. Sorry
