well i keep her leash pretty short ... just enough so that she is right next to me walking at my pace...and tell her to heel...and when she isn't pulling and does walk next to me...even if it was a few seconds...while she is doing it i give her a treat and praise....
some make the mistake of treating them right when they start pulling then the dog thinks that is what they are getting reward for....lol
