Zyrtec is an over the counter antihistamine that is taken only once daily. I take it at bedtime, it doesn't cause daytime fatigue and works wonders for my allergies. If that doesn't help, you may want to consider seeing an allergist. BTW, it is often dander, not fur, that causes the allergic reaction.
