My Bogie mats really bad. I use a Madan pin brush and a maddan comb. Spray the brush with conditioner or detangler and brush starting from the bottom in very small sections. When I come to a mat I take spray detangler on the mat and take my Maddan comb,holding the hair close the the skin firmly and gently work out the mat. If there are a lot of mats it is very time consuming. I brush Bogie every day. I am using the Yorkie splash shampoo and yorkie shine conditioner. I have been using it probably 2 months now and his coat does not get as many mats now. I also ordered the Iv San Bernard Pek conditioner and some of their other products but it won't be here until Thur so I can't comment on it yet. Vee has a thread right now about it. I can't wait to try it.
