We also have many 24 hour 365 day emergency vet hospitals in
our area. Ours also requires a deposit just to be put on the list to
be seen and then the remainder up front once the diagnosis has
been made before they will proceed with any further treatment.
They definitely have the corner on emotional blackmail. While I
can always come up with what ever they want between savings,
credit cards I feel bad for those that can't and leave with their
pets in their arms in tears. There is no such thing as working out
payment arrangements around here.
