I think they are beautiful!! There are more "across the pond" in the UK - that is where they were developed. Also, they are a non-shedding breed so I think they have hair like a yorkie. Silky with no undercoat.

If you find someone that has one - ask them to check the website (The Lucas Terrier Club of America) and contact the administrator. She is trying to keep track of how many are in the US.

They are not on the AKC website becasue they are not recognized by the AKC. They are a very new breed.

I must have a thing for new breeds - I got really excited when I heard about the biewer, too! I can't wait until we are ready for pup number 3!!
