his coat used to touch the ground then we decided to stop showing so i just cut it up a little so it wasnt as long but now we are going to show again! he gets bathed everyother day and is in wraps again now

Everyone does something different. Not sure I'd bath this often, especially using wraps. May have better results by wrapping and leaving it alone. Just checking it to make sure they're in place. Not sure what you need to wash out this often but it's something you may consider.
