ya, you need a lot of patience. I'm home all the time now & my son is grown & moved out so I just "dote" on my little love. He is about 5 pounds now I would never want a really, super tiny one. We stepped on his toes a couple times when we first brought him home & he was only 2 pounds. I'm glad he grew a bit!! and also there are never any distractions during training, with only him & I in the house all day, which makes things alot easier. It must be very hard with small kids and a puppy to look after. But, I thing the yorkie & toy breeds still get the "bum rap"
