We did start scratching our ears a couple of weeks ago. I called the vet right away and have since finished ear drops. Now randomly one or the other ear is down. But one or the other is ALWAYS up. OCCASIONALLY both are up at the same time for a moment or two. Still holding out.
She is teething like crazy! Oh yea...we are keeping them shaved as well. I just drop by the groomers every couple of weeks or so. Not a full groom just her ears.
