Thank goodness you all were safe and the fire was contained!!
This is a good lesson because so many people do start dishwashers and washer/dryers and leave the house or go to bed and really never think about it!
I hope the store and/or manufacturer will replace your dryer since it was newer! I wonder if there was any kind of recall on it??
We had someone in a town next to us who left their home with the dishwasher running a few years ago. The house was only a couple of years old and it caught fire. The whole house burned down and their pets were killed. So sad! |
