We just call him a mix now because the older he gets, the more he starts to look less and less like standard Yorkies and I'm not just talkin' about size. He definitely has strong Yorkie genes, but that could just mean he's more Yorkie in his mix.

Some day, I'd love the DNA test just to know because frankly, paying $1450 for a mix breed is ridiculous. (850, plus vet visit upon purchase! sorry but not fair if he's a mix...). There's a part of me that hopes to god he was just a badly bred Yorkie so I can at least justify the cost. I love him, but that's a lot of money.

wow yes for a mix that is! and i HATE dishonest people!!!! i knew a woman who had two boxers, her female was tagged once by a golden ret. next door, the pups came out looking a bit mixed.. some had shaggy hair even! she still registered them akc boxers
