If I had known then what I knew now... boy oh boy I'd be coming home with a purebred Yorkie, I'll tell you that! because after a vet check, our Derby was $1450! and the older he gets, the more he starts to look less Yorkie. I look at his puppy pics, and although he looks Yorkie~ he looks a bit different then the purebred/well bred Yorkies I've seen. Oh well, I told my husband I wanted a Yorkie and he came home with this guy! Surprise!
I know my friend just doesn't want to go through what we did for a mix breed. The problem is, is that the humane society doesn't have anything she really wants, and she hasn't met any decent breeders online yet. She's got a friend-of-friend-of-a-friend type thing that's selling her a pup.
