Which plan from Embrace did you go with??
Oh, yes!! With me having so many pups now this is very important issue to me. I NEVER want to feel they can't have the care they deserve because I can't afford it. I chose them they didn't choose me, and they are my responsibility. I will do everything I can to give them the very best.

I didn't mean Petplan won't cover ER and those other things...they do. They just charge you a much higher co-pay percent than what you selected on your plan.

Oh and the other biggie for me was the deductible - with Embrace the deductible you choose is good for the whole year, you only pay your deductible one time. With Petplan, the deductible applies to each illness or injury, so you have to pay it every time you take her in for something new. That could really add up, especially as they get older and have more problems.

Look at this page and click on the "?"'s next to deductible and next to co-pay, it will explain what I'm trying to say. Petplan's Flexible Dog Insurance Policies

On Embrace, I went the major medical only with a $200 annual deductible and $10,000 annual maximum (this is per pet). The cost is approx $33/month for each of my guys. I did not choose the Wellness plan because I wouldn't spend any more than they're covering anyway so why pay their premiums? (Their wellness plan will reimburse a max of $250 per year).
